Andrew Douglas
Andrew has worked full time in law since 1990 before completing his law degree at the University of Queensland and being admitted as a Queensland Solicitor in 1992.
He set up his Morayfield office from the existing premises in 1995 and hooked it up with all modern technology available to his Breakfast Creek office which is now located at Hendra.
He has nearly 30 years experience in property, wills, estates and commercial matters such as leases, loans and business transfers and works with other specialist solicitors and sometimes barristers if he can’t avoid related disputes.
Chantelle Marchese
Chantelle was admitted as a solicitor in August 2022 after starting at our office in early 2021.
She’s been conducting all wills, estates, EPOAs and assisting with property and related commercial matters like leases and loans and is now an integral part of our team.
Her responsibility has increased dramatically due to a sharp learning curve at this stage of her career. She can also conduct a conveyancing file from A – Z to fill in for our conveyancing clerk when required.
Angela Rushe
Angela has worked as a senior conveyancing clerk in the Brisbane area for decades now and commenced working at our firm full time in 2012.
You cannot get a more experienced conveyancing clerk in their prime and cannot survive in the legal industry for that period of time without being competent.
She is the first point of contact and works with Andrew for all sorts of property transactions including residential purchases or sales, subdivisions, off the plan and commercial conveyancing.
Despite all of that experience and unpredictably urgent workload, she is always pleasant to deal with according to our clients whether they’re a first home owner or a large property developer.
Sherril Baigrie
Sherril has also worked in the legal industry for decades including over two decades since 1997 as the bookkeeper, office manager and works with Chantelle as a relief conveyancer or paralegal.
She has been part of the furniture or at least the glue that has held the firm together all those years including teaching any new staff our procedures and assisting with the ebbs and flows and evolution of the office.
That continuity has been very important for the office, clients and staff alike as well as her ability to deal with any office crisis with a smile on her face.
Zac Sinclair
Zac has recently joined us as a law clerk in the final year of a Law / Business Economics degree at QUT.
He previously worked as a conveyancing paralegal at another law firm after working as a banking and finance consultant and also as a paralegal organising electronic settlements.
Zac has therefore hit the ground running assisting Angela in our property section and is also assisting Chantelle and learning wills, estates and EPOAs.
He hopes to be involved in other related areas of commercial like Chantelle by that point in time.
